New Spider-Man pics have surfaced confirming the webshooters and the fact that he now doesn't have a belt. You'll have to forgive the markings on them. Perez Hilton got a hold of these but here is a look at the new suit, eye design, and webshooters.
I'm not impressed by these just like I'm not impressed with anything about this movie. They need a trailer soon so I can actually see what they're trying to do with this reboot.
What do you guys think of the new look?
In a recent article over at Vulture, about Blake Lively and her career, there was a bit where both a Hollywood manager and agent commented when asked about her role in Warner Bros' Green Lantern. Both are also quick to say that should the forthcoming Green Lantern flop (and it's been a troubled production), it won't hurt Lively much.
I was late to the party but I’ve become a huge Office fan over the course of a year. When news broke that Steve Carell was leaving the show after this season I was heartbroken, I absolutely love his character, and despite him being an idiot, he really is a good boss.
Bones and Angel star David Boreanaz apparently wants another shot at Superman. For those who don’t know, David auditioned for the role back when Bryan Singer was gearing up Superman Returns. He didn’t get it, in case some of you just crawled out from under a rock and are on the edge of your seat for an answer. I for one am just taking this as the usual casting news that gets thrown around for every big movie. Zack Snyder and the WB have already stated that they want to go with an unknown and so they should, but I have three different choices.
I’m not excited about the Spider-Man reboot even in the slightest. The costume pics that came around look cool, but I’m just not interested, maybe the trailer will change my mind. I am, however, intrigued to discover that they may be going the ‘shooter’ route in this movie. For all you younglings out there, Spider-Man didn’t have organic webbing, he built shooters which would eject a line of web fluid he made.
According to Heat World, Orlando Bloom is being paid $1 million dollars, yes, ONE MILLION DOLLARS, for a two-minute part in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit. I’m not the kind of person to bitch about stars making too much money considering the amount of work and the way some movies seem to clear the $500 million with ease, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Granted if I was receiving the $1 million I’d tell all of you who are whining where to stick it so I guess I should take my own advice. Seems like Peter Jackson is doing everything he possibly can to make this movie hit which is a good thing because his last few movies haven’t been able to compete with The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Apparently Disney is considering sequelizing their 1997 "hit" Flubber, staring Robin Williams. The very first one, The Absent Minded Professor, spawned a sequel, Son of Flubber, so it's not really surprising Disney would continue to jump on the 3D craze with another property. I enjoyed Flubber, that is until I watched it several years later and realized how stupid it is. Good news this all hinders on Robin Williams involvement, bad news? This all hinders on Robin Williams involvement. Talk was running rampant about a Mrs. Doubtfire movie years ago and the comic killed that before it could even get started. I'm hoping he kills this as well. I would much rather watch a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel.
The Alien prequel has been delayed until 2013 due to whatever problems have arrived this time. Before it was Ridley Scott fighting with FOX over the budget, then word was floating around about the script, or whatever. It's interesting news seeing as recently, visual FX designer Henry South in a now deleted tweet said, “Started work on alien prequel today!! Absolutely stunning. Worth waiting till late 2011 for peeps!”
In addition to this, Scott told World Screen magazine last month that, “It’s written and budgeted and, frankly, we’ve already booked film stages in England, so I think [it will happen soon].”
The True Blood actor talks briefly about the possibility of working with Zack Snyder and possibly working with the director in his new Superman reboot: Superman: Man of Steel. The actor, who has been rumored to be a front-runner in the search for a new Clark Kent, was full of praise for the Watchmen director and once again was fast to point out that Superman is a character he'd very much like the chance to portray on the big screen.
The first TRON: Legacy reviews are coming in...and they haven't been pretty. Can't say I'm surprised considering the first one bombed but really? They had like twenty years to come up with a story, plan it out, etc. I don't care, I'm still going to see it and I'll let you know what I think of it but it sounds to me like the sequel is suffering the same fate as its parent did.
